Choose flowers for any occasion

Flowers have a universal language, we give flowers when we are in love and want to convey our emotions. We send Birthday flowers to our friends that are celebrating that special day of the year. And of course, we send funeral and sympathy flowers to a funeral home as a way of saying goodbye to parted friend or relative.

We celebrate Mothers Day with flowers, Valentine’s Day with flowers, Easter with flowers; heck, we even give Christmas Flowers during the holidays. Although, the most important person you can buy flowers for is yourself.

Flowers make people smile

There have been studies that prove that flowers make a person happier, but I don’t need a study to tell me that. I have delivered thousands of bouquets to customers when I used to have flower shops before the launch of my internet site. When I am on a flower delivery to an office, the looks of excitement on peoples faces are priceless. Most facial expressions tell me the person is thinking, “are those for me”? Which Discount Should You Use?

- I always chuckle when I watch a movie and they show an intersection with 20 arrows pointing different choices of directions. That is what I am reminded of when I try to buy flowers online, with what appears to be an endless sea of promo and discount codes by national flower sellers.

So I am sitting around and thinking how I (or maybe someone else) can come up with an idea for local flower shops across the country to get their discounts or promotion posted online when someone searches for local flower shop discounts. One way is for flower shops to ask to be certified by Flowers.ORG, where they can apply for a free listing and post their discounts. Hopefully Google gives the local florist discount the same credence they give for online Discount Promotion codes from larger flower sellers.

Flowers.Org is on a mission to get as many certified florists on our “Find A Flower Shop” pages, where we are planing to add discount codes. Once a shop is on that page they can submit their discount codes free of charge. It’s time to level the playing field and offer tools to florists that work hard every day.

What is a Flowers.org certified Florist?

Certified Flower ShopsThere are many bad florists in the United States, right along with bad plumbers, contractors and even Doctors. Now you have to admit, sending flowers to your wife is pretty darn important! Choosing a florist for a serious, because if the florist messes up, only you lose.

So I decided to start calling flower shops myself, city by city. And it’s really quite simple; I call as a customer who wants to order flowers.  There are about 12 points I make for each shop I call, and they are all the same. I don’t deviate. What I really am looking for, is a florist is going is attend to my needs as a customer. Shop owners that really know their flowers, touches the flowers, smells the flowers.
