One of the things I like the most about visiting Manhattan in New York is that almost everywhere you go you see beautiful flower bouquets. If you’re visiting during May, you will find Mother’s Day Flowers all over the city, in the local flower shops; in the windows at Saks Fifth Avenue on Madison Ave. they are always gorgeous this time of year. Hotel Lobbies such as the Four Seasons located at 57 E. 57th St in New York always use pink flowers to show their respect to all those New York Mothers, celebrating being a mom.
Right after I sold my florist business in 2004, my wife and I visited New York City over the most busy flower selling day of them all, Mother’s Day. I wanted to walk around the city and take in the sites, but moreover, I like nothing more than to witness the rustle and bustle of a busy flower shop, getting their flower deliveries ready to be on their way. Sending flowers in NYC could not be any easier, it’s seems like there is a flower shop on every other block.
